Our Team & Leadership
Pastor Jonathan and Ashley Marshall
Pastor and Sister Marshall have dedicated over two decades to serving in various ministries, including children, pre-teen, and youth work. Pastor Marshall’s deep reverence for the Word of God is evident in his teachings, as he eagerly imparts his passion to others. He is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church, while Sister Marshall finds joy in her involvement in music ministry due to her love for singing. Their family includes three lovely children and an amusing little French Bulldog. “Our journey in ministry has been both challenging and rewarding, but we are grateful for the opportunity to serve and make a difference in the lives of others”. – Pastor Marshall
About our Church
Welcome to Door of Hope Pentecostal Church, where we are dedicated to spreading the
gospel and fostering a church built on truth, grace, and love.
At Door of Hope Pentecostal Church, we believe in the transformative power of the Word of
God. We teach and obey Acts 2:38 as the plan of salvation for all. As stated in this
scripture, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). This
foundational belief guides our worship services, teachings, and outreach eLorts as we
strive to bring individuals closer to God through repentance, baptism, and receiving the
Holy Spirit.
Our church is more than just a place of worship; it is a loving community that welcomes all
who seek to grow in faith and understanding. We are committed to creating an environment
where individuals can experience God’s grace and love, while being challenged to live out
their faith in practical ways.
As part of our mission, we are dedicated to seeing our church and community flourish in
truth, grace, and love. Through our various ministries, events, and service opportunities, we
aim to make a positive impact on those around us by sharing the message of salvation and
actively demonstrating God’s love through our actions.
We invite you to join us at Door of Hope Pentecostal Church as we journey together in faith;
seeking to grow deeper in our relationship with God and one another. Together, let us
embrace the truth found in His Word and extend God’s grace and love to those around us.
Come be a part of our welcoming church – where hearts are open, hands are extended, and
lives are transformed by the power of God’s Word and Spirit.

Our Beliefs & Values
What we believe
ABOUT THE BIBLE
THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD. IT IS TRUE IN ALL THAT IT TEACHES. AS THE FLAWLESS WORD OF GOD, IT IS OUR ONLY AUTHORITY FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE AND HOW WE LIVE. (2 TIM 3.15-17)
ABOUT GOD AND JESUS CHRIST
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. HE HAS REVEALED HIMSELF TO US AS OUR FATHER, IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, AND THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT. JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD, THAT IS, THE ONE GOD MANIFESTED IN AND THROUGH AN AUTHENTIC HUMAN LIFE. TO SEE JESUS IS TO SEE GOD. (DEUT 6.4; JOHN 14.9; EPH 4.4-6; COL 2.9; 1 TIM 3.16)
ABOUT SIN AND SALVATION
EVERYONE HAS SINNED AND NEEDS SALVATION. SALVATION COMES BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH BASED ON THE ATONING SACRIFICE OF JESUS CHRIST. (ROM 3.23-25;6.23; EPH 2.8-9)
ABOUT THE GOSPEL AND CONVERSION
THE GOSPEL IS THE GOOD NEWS THAT JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE AGAIN. WE OBEY THE GOSPEL BY REPENTING OF OUR SINS (DEATH TO SIN), BEING BAPTIZED IN WATER IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF OUR SINS (BURIAL), AND RECEIVING THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (RESURRECTION). THIS EXPERIENCE IS CONSISTENT WITH THE PATTERN OF CONVERSION IN THE EARLY CHURCH. (1 COR 15.1-4; 2 THES 1.8; 1 PET 4.17; MARK 1.15; ACTS 15.7; ROM 6.3-4; ACTS 2.4, 37-39; 8.9-17; 10.1-48; 19.1-7)
ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIVING
AS CHRISTIANS WE ARE TO LOVE GOD AND LOVE OTHERS. WE ARE TO WORSHIP GOD JOYFULLY AND SEEK TO LIVE A LIFE THAT IS PLEASING TO HIM BOTH INWARDLY AND OUTWARDLY—IN OUR THOUGHTS, WORDS, AND ACTIONS. WE ARE EMPOWERED TO LIVE A LIFE PLEASING TO GOD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT. AS A PENTECOSAL CHURCH,
WE BELIEVE THAT THE SUPERNATURAL GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT ARE FOR THE CHURCH
TODAY AND ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL SPIRIT-FILLED BELIEVERS. (MARK 12.28-31; 1 COR 12.8-10; 2 COR 7.1; ROM 8.13-14; GAL 5.19-26; HEB 12.14
